Yes, we are a married couple, which works out brilliantly for clients as it means that you get two heads that work well together instead of one! Great value for copywriters today!
Combined, we have worked in industry for too many years to mention, and across many, many different sectors, but you wanted to learn a little more about us, so here goes!
Andy remembers his headmaster making a big deal out of one of his poems called “Battle” when he was about eight, so good was this poem that every time visitors came to the school it would get shown off; he has always had a suspicion that it’s been published somewhere, but he’s never tracked it down.
Andrew was a copywriting apprentice, and was responsible for several high profile newsletters for O2 as one of his early jobs. Later on in life, Andy had a successful marketing career, you tend to do a lot of writing in marketing (websites, newsletters, social media, brochures, literature, emails etc), so accepted his fate that writing would form part of his career, although he has yet to write that illusive novel!
Debs has a creative eye, and a very critical one when it comes to what words work and look the best on page or screen; she is also devilishly brilliant at proofreading.
Both share a love of family, days out, football (Debs team is from Leeds and Andys is from Manchester!), 80’s music (although Debs is mainly cheesy pop and Andy loves his Metal!), and Andy loves a craft beer or two (he also writes for his beer blog andysbeerreviews.com), and Debs doesn’t drink! Both love their GSD Hela!
